Get started in Orlando and launch your Baseball Career at the 20th Annual PBEO Job Fair!
The PBEO Job Fair will be held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Fla., from December 8-11, 2013. The Job Fair is an annual feature of the Baseball Winter Meetings. This is a great opportunity to meet with representatives from professional teams, interview on-site and choose from a variety of positions.
Get in on the ground floor and build your future by attending baseball's most popular meeting and seminar to find YOUR job in professional baseball.
The PBEO Job Fair provides registrants a look at the business of professional baseball, as well as an excellent opportunity to find employment. On average, 450-550 jobs are posted annually at the Job Fair.
Most of these jobs are internships and entry-level positions
However, some positions are for those with prior baseball experience or a related background looking for the next challenge. Most Minor League Baseball and Major League Baseball teams will be hiring for positions beginning in January 2014. Therefore, it is preferable for attendees to be on track to graduate college by December 2013.
For those of you who are not graduating until May 2014, make sure to focus on Short Season Minor League Baseball clubs, as they do not start play until June and therefore typically start their new-hires later in the year. For a list of these clubs, please visit the classification page on MiLB.com.

Job Fair Registration
Advanced registration for the PBEO Job Fair is now closed. If you haven't registered and would like to attend the Job Fair, you may still register on-site in Orlando (cash or credit card only). The registration counter opens at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 8 in the Southern Hemispheres foyer. Registration prices will increase by $50 on-site.

If you registered in advance, you should receive your registration materials about the third week of November. There will be no need for you to check-in once you're on-site, as your name badge will serve as your entrance into the Job Fair and Baseball Trade Show. If you lose or forget your name badge, you will have to purchase another one to gain entry into the Job Fair. Once you send our office both your old and new name badge, you will be refunded for the one purchased on-site.

The Business of Baseball Workshop
The Business of Baseball Workshop will be held in Southern Hemisphere Ballrooms II-III at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort on Sunday, December 8, 2013, from 8:15 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
At the Workshop, you will:
- Learn the ropes of the Job Fair from the Orientation Session
- Learn how to get the right job in baseball
- Gain the skills to make you more marketable and increase your earning potential
- Enjoy networking opportunities with baseball executives
- Gain career-building ideas from industry insiders and key decision makers, such as MiLB President Pat O'Conner

Baseball Winter Meetings and Baseball Trade Show
The Baseball Winter Meetings is the annual convention for members of The National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues, Inc. (d/b/a Minor League Baseball), Major League Baseball and their affiliated parties. The meetings consist of seminars, league and organizational meetings, the Baseball Trade Show, special events and the PBEO Job Fair. At the Baseball Trade Show, manufacturers display the products that will fill team stores and stadium concession stands, as well as the uniforms and equipment that will be used on the field.
