Las Vegas Hilton The Las Vegas Hilton has transformed itself into a contemporary resort and ranks among the world's most famous and popular destinations. It is situated on 59 acres next to the Las Vegas Strip and adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center. The property is one of the largest hotels in the world and offers world-class entertainment (featuring the legendary Barry Manilow and other headliners) in the 1600 seat Hilton Theater, 16 distinctive restaurants and a full-service health and spa. The Las Vegas Hilton has been designated as the Official Hotel for the Baseball Winter MeetingsTM and PBEO Job FairTM attendees. It is located at 3000 Paradise Rd., just off The Strip. PBEO has secured a special group rate of $109 per night, plus taxes for Job Fair attendees. You may click here to take a virtual tour of the Las Vegas Hilton. To Make Reservations: There are two ways to secure reservations for the Las Vegas Hilton. You can use the Registration & Housing form (Coming soon: print, complete and return to our office) or include your housing reservation when you register online (new members only; members, please log-in and click the Add Service/Renew Subscription link on your profile page, also available soon) at www.PBEO.com. The deadline to reserve housing through us is November 7th. Once you reserve housing, the hotel will charge your card after November 7th. Housing confirmations will be emailed from the Radisson Hotel Opryland on November 19th. To ride on a shuttle please follow the Public Transportation signs at the airport. A taxi cab is approximately $18 one way. For more information on McCarran International and public transportation, please visit http://www.mccarran.com/.  Notes: Hotel Cancellation Policy: The hotel cancellation policy is seven (7) days prior to arrival. Cancellations and changes should be made directly with the hotel beginning on November 21, 2008. Refund for hotel deposit will come directly from the hotel. Housing reservations made after October 31, 2008 will be at the hotel’s prevailing room rate based on availability. Hotel confirmations will be emailed no later than November 21. The room rate is $109 plus applicable taxes (currently 9%). Although PBPC (Professional Baseball Promotion Corp.) will use reasonable efforts to accommodate the housing requests of each applicant, PBPC reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion, to assign, reassign, change or otherwise designate lodging for any applicant (and/or the above-identified individuals) at any of the Baseball Winter Meetings hotels.
